Fast, Powerful and Easy to use, E-Ship Online is Purolator’s newest web based shipping systems. With just a few clicks of the mouse you can:

E-Ship Online Step by Step Tutorial

Getting Started

To start using E-Ship Online, simply open your web browser and go to and click on the Ship Now Icon.

You are now presented with the Login page. Click on Register to create an online shipping account.

Registration

Entering your Username and Password

This is the first step in Registering with E-Ship Online. You will need to select a Username that is unique. For security purposes, be sure to select a password and password reminder that easy for you to remember but not obvious to others.

Entering Your Address

When you complete this information, Purolator will automatically fill in the “Sender” section when creating a shipment. This will save you time and possible labeling errors.

Payment Method & Terms & Conditions

Enter your Purolator account number. Purolator account numbers are 7 digits, add zero’s in front of your account number if necessary.

In order to continue with the registration you must select "Yes, I agree". After this has been selected you select the “SAVE” button to proceed.

Once completed, you will be directed to the login screen. Enter your newly created Username and password and click on “Login”.

Verify your Profile

We strongly recommend that you verify your account profile before you start using E-Ship.

Once you logon, simply place your mouse over My account and select Edit Profilefrom the drop down menu.

Verify that your address and contact information is correct. To be able to receive a confirmation email when shipments are prepared or cancelled, please enter a valid email address.

You may also change your Password from this screen and don’t forget to click the Save Icon located at the bottom of the screen if you change any information.

Selecting your default settings

Select Preferences from the My Account menu.

The Preferences page allows you to set the shipment options that you frequently use to be the default values on the shipment pages.

Select all the values that you would like to become your defaults. Be as specific as possible in the Pickup section, this information is used when paging the driver for a pickup.

Schedule A Pickup – You will need to set your Pickup Location, Any Time After and Until (minimum 1hour window).

Scheduled – If you have made arrangement with us to have a pre arranged pickup (daily, weekly, etc….) you will need to set the Pickup Location, Scheduled Pickup Time and the Any Time After & Until fields.

Drop Box & Retail Centre – If you intend to drop off your parcel to one of our location.

Note: If you wish to make arrangement for a pre arranged pickup or change the time of your existing pre arranged pickup, please call 1-888-744-7123. Changing the scheduled pickup time online will not override what was agreed upon with the depot/driver.

Click “SAVE”.

Defaulting the Cost Centre

SelectManage Accountsfrom the My Account menu.

Select account number.

Enter in Cost Centre and click “SAVE”.

The department Cost Centre number has now been saved and will automatically default when you create a shipment. Note: when using the address book be sure to enter in the Cost Centre number with the receivers information. This will allow the Cost Centre number to default with the address book.

Shipment Info

This is the first screen you see when you login to E-Ship and it is always available by placing your mouse over Shipment and selecting Create Shipment.

  • Start by entering the Ship To (Receiver) information. Use your address book to quickly fill in this information. Also when entering a new address, click Add Address to address book to quickly save your address.
  • Next, verify your Bill To information.
  • Next, verify your Pickup Info.
  • Schedule A Pickup – Will page a Purolator Driver who will pickup your shipment(s)
  • Drop Off – If you intend to bring your shipment to one of our locations
  • Pre-Arranged Pickup – If you have made arrangements with the depot to have a daily or weekly pickup at your location. Or if you wish to prepare your shipments ahead of time and will schedule a pickup at a later date.
  • Next, verify the Cost Centre (Invoice Reference).
  • This is a mandatory field. Enter in your department’s Cost Centre number.

Once completed, click “NEXT” to proceed to the shipment detail screen.

Shipment Details

  • Packaging – Choose the type of package that you are shipping
  • Puroletter (For US/International shipments only)
  • Puropak
  • My Box – Your own packaging (Including Envelopes or Bag’s not supplied by Purolator)
  • Premium Services – You have the ability to choose a Purolator Premium Delivery Services. Default is “None.”
  • Number of Pieces – Enter the number of pieces in your shipment. (When sending a Puroletter or Puropak it will default to 1)
  • Total Weight – Enter the total combined weight of your Shipment. (Not required when sending a Puroletter)
  • Package Details (Optional) – For a more accurate estimate, use this section to enter detailed piece information (dimensions or weight). For each piece in the shipment, select Add Row then enter in the piece information. Select Save. Note: The information provided in this section overrides the number of pieces and total weight fields in the shipment option section.

Once completed, click “SHIP” to process your shipment.

Shipment Confirmation

You are now at the Shipment Confirmation page; click the “View/Print” button, to obtain the Purolator Waybill. Print it out, fold it in half and insert into a labelope. Once firmly attached to your package, the package is ready to go, no manifests required!

It is also at this stage that the courier driver is paged (depending on your pickup selection) and a confirmation email will be sent.

If you require a paper copy of the shipment, click on view and print Shipment details.

You’re done!

You may now:

  • Create Another Shipment
  • Generate a Manifest – If you require a paper copy of your day’s shipments. Also available from the Shipment Menu
  • Sign Off – It is important that you Sign Off once you are done. If you simply close the Internet window the session stays open.

Additional information

Ordering Shipping Supplies

You may order all of your shipping supplies online by going to the My Account menu and selecting Order Shipping Supplies. The Labelopes affix the Purolator waybills to your shipments.

Shipping History

All you’re shipping history is available through the History and Reports menu. You have many search options and reports available.

Your shipping history is kept online for a two-year period and can be downloaded for archiving.

Canceling a Shipment

Since the invoicing is electronic, it is very important that you cancel any shipment you do not intend to send. If a shipment is not canceled, it will appear on your next invoice and you will need to contact Purolator to credit the shipment.

To cancel a shipment, click on Shipment and select Cancel Shipment.
