Dear Colleague,

please find below the Registration Form, the Who is Who Form and the English Fluency Certification to be sent to the European Genetics Foundation by e-mail and regular mail, and the Hotel Reservation Form to be sent as soon as possible to the hotel you wish to reserve. You will receive confirmation of your registration by e-mail. Here is some useful information for you:

1.Course venue: La Nunziata Centre, via Portobello, Sestri Levante (Genoa), Italy.

2. Accommodation:

- HOTELS: rooms on a half board basis (breakfast and dinner) have been reserved in 2, 3 and 4 star Hotels at reduced rates/PER PERSON/PER DAY (see hotel list enclosed).

Please complete the attached hotel reservation form and return it as soon as possible directly to the hotel you wish to reserve in Sestri Levante (Genoa)together with the deposit equivalent to the cost of 1 night, following the instructions given on the form. The balance of the accommodation charges is to be paid to the hotel where you will be staying, using cash or in one of the ways indicated on the hotel form at your arrival.

3. Registration fees: It. Lire 840.000/Euro 434, covering all organisational expenses including abstract book, lunches and coffee-breaks, handouts, certificate of attendance. The registration feeis to be paid as soon as possible to the European Genetics Foundation (see registration form enclosed).

4. Course registration will take place at La Nunziata Centre, Sestri Levante on March 25, between 16:00 - 19:30.

5. How to reach Sestri Levante (a seaside resort 50 km. east of Genoa):

- by plane: Cristoforo Colombo International Airport is connected with downtown Genoa (piazza Principe and piazza Brignole) by the bus service Volabus. From Genova Principe or Brignole railway stations trains to Sestri Levante run approx. every hour.

- by car: motorway A12, exit Sestri Levante.

- by train: from Milan railway station take a train to Genoa. From Genova Principe or Brignole railway stations trains to Sestri Levante run approx. every hour.

6. Information regarding the topics of the course will be available on the Internet: .

7.To help us preparing the Participants’ Who is Who (which shall be included in the abstract book of the Course), you are kindly requested to send a brief description (max. 90 words) of your research work, possibly by e-mail (as attached document) using the enclosed Who is Who form (see instructions on form).

8. Hiking shoes will be useful for students participating in the excursion scheduled on Wednesday, March 29.

9. A few fellowships for “under 35” from the European Society of Human Genetics and WHO covering registration and living expenses will be available. Please notify us if you are interested in applying for one.
