Call to Order

The September meeting was called to order at 12:30 p.m. By Glenda Jungers

Pledge of Allegiance

The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Jessica Heslin.

Prayer

The prayer was led by Glenda Jungers.

Approval of Minutes

Glenda Jungers made a motion to approve the minutes and Alexander Altobell seconded the motion.

Roll Call

The roll was called and those attending today’s meeting were:

Items of Discussion

Trivia Night

Dave Thomas was delighted with Trivia Night and reported that a good time was had by all. The amount of money raised by Trivia Night to benefit The Meals on Wheels Program will be announced later and a check will be given at the Thanksgiving lunch at the Senior Center on November 21, 2013.

Vacancy

Victor Maassen (Ward 1) has decided to turn in his resignation, effective October 17, 2013. Maribeth Huddleston made the motion that Rick Adams move from the alternate position to being a full member of the board. Lorene (Net) Thomas seconded the motion and it was approved. Dave commented that anyone interested in the alternate position should contact City Hall for the application.

Senior Fair

Vendor Confirmations went out this week. There was full support of the committee to work and a sign -up sheet was passed around. There are still 3 spots left that could be used by Veterans Groups. Wilbert Schmidt made a motion to make the deadline one week from today and then open the spots to anyone. Rick Adams seconded the motion and it carried.

Next Meeting Date

The next meeting will be on November 21, 2013 at the Senior Center located at 115 McMenamy Drive in St. Peters.

Adjournment

The motion was made to adjourn by Glenda Jungers and was seconded by Wilbert Schmidt. We adjourned at 1:30 p.m.
