Telescopes-Purchase Proposal

Planetary Photography

This is the SkyView Pro™ 127mm Mak-Cass telescope. This scope would be the best purchase we could make for photography of planets, the sun, and the moon. This scope has the ability to track objects in the sky, and is quite compact for the 300x magnification it yields.

Quick, Easy, and Entertaining

(For even the youngest student)

This is the StarBlast™ Astro Telescope. It is compact enough to put in the front seat of a car, versatile enough to set on your hood, and so simple a grade-schooler could learn to use it in seconds. It is the perfect choice to get students interested in astronomy. With five or six of these scopes, a person could fascinate groups of students for many nights.

Astrophotography

Photographing the heavens is a difficult and costly task. The accessories required are expensive. The scopes used for astrophotography are quite expensive. However, success in this field is most rewarding. Photographers who are able to produce quality photos in this field are considered to be among the best. We have students with the ability and drive to achieve such a goal.
