FRESHMEN CO-PRESIDENT (Job Description):
PROJECTS/RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties as assigned; plan Sadie Hawkins Dance; maintain balloon supplies; attend Freshmen Class meetings each month; organize grade-level t-shirt design contest; publicize grade-level events, information and accomplishments (requires research too); help promote grade-level sports and activities.
ASB RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties as assigned; plan/organize/participate in assemblies; plan/organize/participate in spirit rallies; aid in classroom clean-up and organization; assist with Mr. Griffin; set-up & clean-up of school dances; work well with others; promote positive school environment through responsible choices and positive actions.

IF APPOINTED OR ELECTED TO ASB 2014-2015, YOU MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR THESE SUMMER DATES & ACTIVITIES:
1. ASB team building & ASB room clean-out: A few days in June and/or July, 2014
2. ASB President & ASB Vice President will organize and host team-building activities for ALL ASB members throughout the summer.
3. ASB CAMP @ UC, Santa Barbara: This is the ULTIMATE team-building experience.
a. Leave LAHS – Tuesday August 12, 2014 at 12:00pm
b. Return to LAHS – Friday August 15, 2014 around 3:30pm (depending on traffic)
4. Work at Los Alamitos High School REGISTRATION: ALL ASB MEMBERS WILL BE REQUIRED TO WORK SEVERAL SHIFTS AT REGISTRATION TO HELP ADULTS ON CAMPUS. THIS IS A GRADE, THIS IS MANDATORY. Registration dates for 2014-2015: August 19th, 20th, 21st
YOUR YEAR ON ASB: Regardless as to whether you are elected or appointed to ASB 2014-2015, you must be able to maintain acceptable academic and attendance levels throughout the school year. ASB will help to enhance your life, but cannot detract from your accomplishments. There will be times when outside work is required, and the ASB team will work to effectively accomplish all of their tasks TOGETHER.
- Turn your completed application in at the Activities Office at Los Alamitos High School.
- The Activities Office is located at the back of the school, near the Senior parking lot.
- ACTIVITIES OFFICE HOURS:
o Opens at 7:20am
o Closes at 3:30pm
- MAKE SURE TO SCHEDULE YOUR INTERVIEW APPOINTMENT WHEN YOU DROP OFF YOUR COMPLETED APPLICATION. Interviews will be held April 22-24th.
