1.0 Purpose

The purpose of this policy is to handle your E-Mail Account on TNS Mail Server.

2.0 Scope

This is applicable for all the users;thoseallotted E-MailIds on TNS Mail Server.

3.0Procedure

  • Check Mail Process (Not Applicable for Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express user):

Double click on the Internet explorer (Internet Browser). Type the address mail.tnsworld.com on address bar and press Enter key or click on Go button to open the site. Now you can see the home page with the following field.

User Name:You should write the complete email address here, for e.g., abc.xyz.

Password: Enter password which is given to you for your email address.

Now click on “LOGIN NOW” button to log in to the webmail interface.

NOTE: If you are not able to view your folders, please logout and login again.

Compose – For Sending a New Mails

Inbox – Yours Received Mail Storage Box

Sent Items – All Send Mails Storage Box

Draft – Unsent Mails Storage Box

Junk – Junk Mails Storage Box

Trash – Unwanted and fake mails Storage Box

Folder- You can categorized your mails by making the Folder

  • Mail Control Panel Options Descriptions (Top Horizontal Panel List)

Preference – For Customize Your Control Panel Like (Identity, Display Settings and Session Settings)

Profile – Customize your Personal Information

Change Password – Reset Your Mail Login Password

Signature -You can add customized signature with every outgoing mail

Auto Responder - the mail receipt acknowledgment

POP 3 Access - You can use any POP3 client (Microsoft Outlook, Netscape etc) to download mails from your Inbox.

Forwarding - To forward your mail to another mail account

Filter – This utility used for apply filter on your mails

Block Senders – For Blocking the unwanted mails and entire Unwanted Domains.

Notify New – For Setting Alert on Mobile or new mail id for receiving any mails in your Inbox Panel.

White List – For Categorization of Received mails in your Inbox.

Black List – For Blocking the Unwanted Mails or Domains.

NOTE -

  1. It is advise to all TNS Mails users PLs change your mail Password at every 15 Days and password must be Strong. Changing your password process will save your mail data safely.

2. Every Users has allotted 20 MB space on TNS Mail Server, If your Mail ID Space is Covered more then 20 MB space on TNS Mail Server, Your account will automatically delete after 3 Days. So regular cleaning of your account is must.
