AGE GROUP COACH
JOB TITLE: Age Group Coach
RESPONSIBLE TO: Head Coach (HC)
SKILLS REQUIRED: ASA / UKCC Level 2

Driving license and own transport desirable but not essential
MAIN DUTIES:
- Assist the Head Coach (HC) and Head Age Group Coach (HAGC) in the design, delivery and administrative organisation of the Regional Age Squad
- Coach and oversee the running of the Regional Age Squad in line with LTAD
- Deliver pool-based and land-based training sessions
- Identify individual swimmer’s needs and ensure they are met
- Identify squad needs and ensure they are met
- Identify talented swimmers to the HAGC
- Smooth administrative transfer of swimmers between squads
- Communicate effectively with parents, swimmers and club members
- Assist in compiling club management and attendance database
- Assist with administration and fee payment management
- Promote swim meets and gala entries
- Attend swim meets and galas as directed on the competition calendar
- Promote and coach developmental camps and clinics
- To act as a spokesperson for the Regional Age Squad
- Attend Norwich teachers and coaches meetings
- Ensure communication with swimmers and parents is received and understood
- Receive and answer enquiries in person and by telephone and email
- Referral of complaints where appropriate
- Report any problems immediately to HC/HAGC/MC
- Provide timely reports to the HC and Management Committee (MC)
- Follow and promote the UEA City of Norwich SC code of conduct
- Follow and promote the UEA City of Norwich SC equity policy
- Always be positive
- Assist the HC and HAGC with other reasonable duties
Hours:There isflexibility on weekly hours for the right candidate
Part-time: iro 10-15 hours / week
Remuneration:This position is self-employed and remuneration is based on an hourly rate dependent upon qualifications and experience.
