  1. Mission Statement:

A.Our mission is to strengthen the sense of community among our students, faculty and parents. Our association aims to provide opportunities throughout the year for Howard School families to get together to share information, build friendships and unite as a community, as well as share a sense of pride in our children and in The Howard School.

We invite you to attend our Parent Association meetings, volunteer at any level, and get involved! It is vitally important to us that you’re family and your student feel connected and supported by our association. Our community comes from near and far and spans from early learning to high school seniors. We welcome your opinions, ideas and participation. As a Howard School parent, you are automatically a member of The Howard School Parents Association. There are no dues/fees to become a member.

A.Parents Association Voluntary Donation Program Explaination:

The voluntary donation program for The Howard School Parents Association was developed after the 2014 community survey revealed that our families would prefer a voluntary monetary donation approach over a third party fundraiser (the selling of products). A minimum donation of $65 from each one of our 262 students would fund our $16,000 operating budget for the 2015-2016 school year.

These funds are used to support classroom and school events, teacher and faculty appreciation efforts, and various other needs of the school and its community.

You may make a donation online by going to The Howard School website/Parents/Donate, credit card donations at a number of events in the fall, or write a check to The Howard School Parents Association.

Donors of $100 or more will receive The Howard School Parents Association Swag Bag.
