mEDUXNEKEAG SHOWCASE”
** MCS Showcase date will be in April 21 at 9:00.
The theme for this year is “What I Know About Trees”.
Some suggestions for projects include:
-What is your favorite tree and why? -How and why trees are important for people, wildlife and forests? -How a tree works and its relation to the other species in the forest -Why it is important to protect trees and what is / can be done to achieve this? -How did your parents and grandparents use trees that is different from today – historical and cultural uses. The above are only examples; they are not intended to be the only way to focus on the theme; projects which respond to the theme in other ways are perfectly acceptable!
Please note that projects do not have to be about or based
on the Meduxnekeag River, instead it is about “Trees” in your immediate area, whether that be your home, cottage, community, school, etc. It needs to be local, preferably in their backyard. Projects are to be completed by individual students.
