It is our great pleasure to invite authors and specialists to present their scientific research papers to the 3rd International Conference of Advanced Intelligent MAritime Safety Technology (Ai-MAST) 2015 to be held from 12 to 14 November 2015 in Daejeon, Korea.
Ai-MAST will bring together researchers, engineers and practitioners to present the latest accomplishments, innovations and potential future directions concerning all aspects of navigation and maritime economy, where they will share their expert knowledge, experience and research results. It aims to provide an interactive platform for international academics and industry practitioners to discuss the popular and contemporary issues related to navigation, maritime economics, policy and management, education and training.
The theme of Ai-MAST 2015 is “e-Navigation and Ocean Economy”. Considering the growing concerns on e-navigation, maritime transport should not only achieve arriving at the ports, but should also improve the welfare of the human beings by promoting the ocean economy. There is an increasing recognition that enavigation and ocean economy will be playing a crucial role in strengthening maritime safety and the welfare of the human beings.
Ai-MAST 2015 serves as an industry-wide initiative to discuss contemporary issues concerning how to prepare the forthcoming e-navigation. The industrial experts will also be invited to share their insights on the topic.
Interested parties are cordially invited to submit academic papers in English to Ai-MAST 2015. Author(s) should have direct involvement in the study being reported and deliver a 15-20 minute presentation during the Conference. Accepted papers will be included in the Conference Proceedings. Accepted papers will be included in the Conference Proceedings. Authors are requested to submit their titles or abstracts on or before July 30, 2015, and the full paper by October 30, 2015.
After the conference, selected papers will be published in The International Journal of e-Navigation and
Maritime Economy (e-Navi), Pioneering Journal of e-Navigation and Maritime Economy, in Special Issue or Regular Issue 2016 hosted by Elsevier at www.elsevier.com/locate/enavi.
