Minister's Absence

Peter Taylor will be away at Conference from 13thto 19th November. He will then fly to the UK to visit his sister Grace (who was here last year, if you remember), who is very ill. He will be back in Invercargill on 14th December.

Prayer:

Proverbs 16: 2. We can always ``prove'' that we are right, but is the Lord convinced? Lord, one look around at this sorry planet should be enough to convince us that we are never right to lead our lives ignoring Your laws and teaching. May we look to Your Word and teaching to guide us in our ways? Save us from the assumption that we know it all, and grant us true humility in all that we do.

Christmas Food Parcels

This year we would like to follow our usual custom of making up special Christmas food parcels for families who would otherwise have very little. Donations of tinned fruit, jellies, soft drinks, Christmas puddings and cake, sweets, biscuits etc. can be put in the food basket. No presents or toys, please. Cash donations are also very welcome.

See Margaret Brass for more information.
