Join in a variety of games throughout the course. Games such as Hideout, Titanic, Clean Your Room and Crab Soccer. Grades: K-4

Holiday Crafts & Card Making with MissHeuston

During this mini course, students will make a new and exciting holiday craft every week. The students will end the session by gift wrapping their holiday surprise and filling out a name tag to give as a holiday surprise to a family member or friend. What a great way to have your child complete and personalize their holiday gift list for the family! Grades: K-4

Zumba with MsSalamon

Helps develop a healthy lifestyle and incorporate fitness as a natural part of children’s lives. Classes incorporate key childhood development elements such as leadership, respect, team work, confidence, self-esteem, memory, creativity, coordination, balance, cultural awareness. Grades: 2-4

Builders Club with MrsTamedl

In this course students will be working with Lego and K’Nex to design and build structures and items. Each week will feature a different design challenge, such as bridges, vehicles, etc. Student will be working independently and in groups. Students will not keep their completed designs. Grades: K-4

WEDNESDAY MINI COURSES

Painting with Miss Mineo

Get ready to be inspired by Miss Mineo who will help guide you step-by-step through a featured painting. Students will learn how to draw andpainta picture on canvas each week. At the end of the day...leave with your own masterpiece. Every week will be a new theme with a new picture topaint.

PLEASE NOTE: Each student must bring four 8x10 stretched canvases (these can be purchased at Michael's craft store or through amazon)Grades: 1-4

STEM Time to Invent with MrsTamedl

The course uses fun invention challenges to spark kids’ interest in science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). Kids will learn how the design process helps them with creative problem solving and what inventing is all about. As kids learn to think like inventors, they’ll grow confident in their abilities, maybe even seeing science, technology, engineering, and math as exciting pathwaysfor their own lives. Before becoming a Domestic Engineer, MrsTamedl worked as an Engineer in industry for over 10 years so she has a lot of experience to draw from for this course!

PLEASE NOTE: Each student will be required to bring a few simple items in for their projects such as AA or watch batteries. A materials lit will be provided to enrolled students.

Come playyoga! Students will learnyogathrough song, interactive games, and literature while building self-

esteem and concentration. Mrs. Spagnolo just recently completed a 200 houryogateacher training and attended a 30 hour children’yogaworkshop and is ready to share what she has learned!

Reader’s Theatre with MrsSpirnitis

Reader'sTheateris a fun way to practice fluency by reading scripts and acting out various plays and books. Grades: K-4

Pokemon Club with Mrs Taylor

It will give the kids a time and place where they can battle, and trade cards in a safe and supervised environment. Children must bring their own cards and should expect come home with different cards than what they came with.

In this mini course, students will have an opportunity to engage in a variety of arts and crafts activities to promote creativity, imagination, and self-confidence. Projects will incorporate a wide range of materials to provide different hands-on experiences for students. All projects will be differentiated to reach all levels of learners.
