JCI Sen. Glenn B. Santos was born on May 29, 1970in Manilaand married toEdelyn Mago of Marilaw, Bulacan. He is a doting father of two children and presently resides with his family in Marilaw, Bulacan. Since his early days,he was already a consistent honor student during his elementary and high school years. Hefinished his college education with a degree of B.A. Major in Political Science at the University of Sto. Tomas in Manila and also finished his Bachelor of Laws at the San Sebastian Recoletos also in Manila.During his college days he was an active member of the fraternal associations and representative of various university student leadership councils.

To this date, he spent almost half of his life into public service and also worked as a banker and a marketing consultant. He entered government service since the age of fifteen serving as Kabataan Barangay Chairman from 1985-1988 then Sanguniang Kabataan Chairman of his town in Marilaw, Bulacan from 1989 – 1992. He become municipal councilor at the age of 21 and served three times from 1992–2001. He was elected Board member of his province in 2001 at the age of 30 where he is now serving up to the presentand amember of the Provincial Board Members League. As a local legislator he joined the National Movement for Young Legislators (NMYL) serving as Provincial Secretary General, Provincial Chairperson and became its National Treasurer. He was also a member of the Philippine Councilors League (PCL)from 1992-2001. Being a service oriented fellow he also finds time of joining and became an active member of other civic clubs like the Knights of Columbus and the Kiwanis.

While in the government service he attended various seminarsand workshops aimedin enhancing his legislation skills. He was also a recipient of various both local and foreign study grants in Thailand, USAand other countries sponsored by the provincial government of Bulacan.As a Provincial Board member and during his stint in the NMYL and PCL he also attended various conventions, world congresses and trade missions both local and abroad. In recognition of his achievements being a dedicated public servant, he was awarded with various citations like Outstanding Municipal Councilor, award for being 3rd Termer as Municipal Councilor, Gintong Kabataan Awardee to name a few.

With his extensive and vast experienced in public governance he was able to build a solid career in the Jayceessince his inductionon December 1992 as a regular member of his chapter the JCI Marilawof the Metro North Region and eventuallybecome it’s President in 2003. Committing himself to served the organization, he run for higher positions and was elected NVP for Metro North in 2004. With his good record he wasappointed as National Secretary General in 2005 then became National Treasurer in 2006. With his burning desire to serve the National Presidency and his quest in the pursuit for excellence he ran for the top post in 2006 and was fortunate enough to be elected as the2007 National President.
