Matters Arising
A few name spelling to change. Teresa agreed to do this before they go on the website
CHAIRMAN’S REPORT:
Sean
Since the last meeting there have been three rallies. Golf rally went well. Weeley, Clacton, was good a nice site.
Sandie judged the dog show at the National 248 dogs.
Feldon Lodge went well, there was a marquee put up.
The chairman’s is fast approaching, the barbeque is sorted, will need the gazebo.
Will start the boules at 11.0am
Football kicking off at 3.0pm there will a trophy for the winners.
Referee’s decision is final. Rules will be distributed on the day.
VICE CHAIRMAN’S REPORT
I went to the Regional meeting it all went well.
TREASURER’S REPORT
Vanessa
The bank balance at the beginning of May was £8,968. The balance at the end of May was £7,880. The site fees for the Easter Rally was a large payment going out accounting for the extra expenditure in the month of May.
I have little to report this month other than we have received £50 donation for the fishing competition from Ken Brown Motors. The committee congratulated Vanessa achieving the £50 from Ken Brown Motors so quickly.
SECRETARY’S REPORT

Not arranged the tellers yet. Will send an email soon.

After a discussion by the committee it was decided to try a new approach to the sending of rally information to new members and send it by email to limit the cost of postage.
RALLY SECRETARY’S REPORT

2016 Programme –
Truckfest
We have not had the electricity bill yet.
Golf Rally
Not many on the rally, but a lovely venue. More played golf than expected.
Weeley in Clacton
The feed back on this rally was good comments regarding the helpfulness of the Landowners. Shame there was no hall as this would have given the members something in the evenings
Feldon Lodge
The rally went well, shame we had 5 cancellations at the last minute. Everyone join in with the street party. New rallier Sue was a scream and will join us again. Rain stayed off until Saturday evening. Thanks go to the Colin and Co for building the pink BBQ.
Capel Manor and Willington Rallies
Capel Manor and Willington breaks have low numbers booked. Andrew has asked if we should cancel Capel Manor. I have asked him to wait until after the Chairman’s rally this weekend. He has been told a few members are going to Exmoor to support Geoff and Margaret at the Ironman. Also Linda & Malcolm have only one booking to date.
Again this is a shame as this will be the last time we can use the venue
Chairman’s Rally
I have prepared Hamper for the Rally raffle tickets are needed
John from Mission Impossible needs reminding about the weekend
Rally Programme 2017.
I launched the 2017 programme at the Feldon Lodge rally; there were a lot of nice comments.
Still need to push for Rally Officers to take on a rally. This is now on the Website.
Blue Nose
Colin requested that on the Friday can he have the hall for his 70th birthday for all the members to enjoy, he offered to pay for the hall and entertainment. The committee all agreed that this would be fine.
New Venues –
I visited Farrowby Farm last week, good results at the time waiting for conformation to date for the requested weekend
Also contacted Chancellors School again
Holiday in July
Teresa stated that the dates for the July holiday next year will clash with the Chairman’s Rally and that could mean that members will go to one or the other rally. She requested if possible can this be changed to another week. Sandie will get back to her later when she has had made enquiries with the site.
2018
I have started booking for 2018. I have requests from the Godfrey family to return to Sears Leisure in Hunstanton. They have offered to run this rally
Easter
A venue on the Suffolk Coast has now been confirmed. Hall on site is small but there is a Village Hall in the next Village along. I will be checking out this on July 16th. We may need to run a coach for the members. The committee agreed that we will need a coach if we book that hall as it inconvenient if they have to drive and many of them cannot walk.
ANY OTHER BUSINESS

Newsletter and Minutes:
Both have gone on the website.
Where is the new notice board? Sean said he will bring it to the Chairman’s Rally.
Committee:
It was discussed at the meeting that the admin charge for rallies does not cover the costs. Many of the rallies are losing money. After a lengthy discussion by the committee it was agreed to put this to the members at the AGM and voted on with a suggestion that 50p be added per night.

I would like to thank Sandy for her hard work on the next year’s rally programme.
