Dear Coach:

Thank you for participating in our volleyball tournament on Saturday, October 3, 2015. Pool Play will begin at 9:00 a.m. at Mora High School and Trailview Middle School (Maps are enclosed along with food and lodging information). The gyms will open at 8:00 a.m. and warm-ups for the first match will begin at

8:40 a.m. Entry fee is $175.00 payable to Mora Public Schools.

Locker rooms will be assigned for all teams. An extra net and warm-up area will be set up in the main gym at the high school. Concession stands and Coaches/Referee Lounges will be open at both sites.

You will have 20 minutes to warm-up before your first match and 10 minutes for all other matches (if both teams agree to a shorter warm-up time after their first match, they can start their match sooner, provided the referees, scorekeepers, and line judges are ready as well.)

The 10 minute warm-ups will be: first 4 minutes-visiting team at the net, second 4 minutes-home team at the net, 2 minutes- serving. (Home team is listed first on pool play schedule and is the top team on the playoff brackets.)

• There are four, three-team pools, with first, second, and third place teams

from each pool put into respective 1st Place, Fifth Place, and 9th Place playoff brackets.

•Pool play for pools "A" and "B" will be at the high school and pool play for pools

"C" and "D" will be at Trailview Middle School.

•9th Place playoffs will be at Trailview Middle School, 5th Place and 1st Place

playoffs will be at the high school.

•Playoffs will begin when all pool play matches have concluded and all teams are at

the playoff sites.

•Medals will be awarded to the first and second place teams and small trophies

will be awarded to 5th and 9th place teams.

Each match in pool play and playoffs will be best 2 out of 3 (25, 25, 15 points with no cap). Tiebreakers to advance to the tournament from pool play will be as follows:

1. Pool-play Match Record

2. Set win-loss percentage (Set Wins/Total Set)

3. Point differential (Points Scored minus Points Allowed) TIED TEAMS ONLY

4. Head to Head

Admission: Adults $7.00, Students K-12th grade $5.00 and Senior Citizens 65+ $5.00.
