LAUNCHING THE CROSS-BORDER PROJECT

The general objective of the cross-border project “YES for CBBC” is represented by the promotion and support for durable economic development of the romanian-bulgarian border area ( Olt County, Ruse, Vratsa regions), through the growth and improvement cross-border cooperation at the level of business environment and promotion of the region’s durable economic development, with the purpose of reduction of its shallow character and for the growth of the cross-border cooperation level.

The promoter of this project is The Centre for Consultancy and Project Management EUROPROJECT , developed in partnership with the Chambers of Commerce and Industry from Ruse and Vratsa and the The Young Entrepreneurs Association from the South-West Oltenia Region. This has been already launched in Romania ,in the Training and Conference Room of the Business Center from Slatina, through a press conference at which participated the representatives SME’s and Non-Profit Associations and other public and private institutions from Olt and Ruse and Vratsa counties, and the representatives of the local media.

Through the activities held, the project “Yes for CBBC” follows to promote the entrepreneurial, inventive spirit of young entrepreneurs from the border area and to strengthen the cooperation among them for the cross-border durable economic development . The Association of Young Entrepreneurs for the Cross-Border Cooperation, which will be created while the project is being unreeled, will have as an objective a better representation at national and regional level, of the typical problems for this sector and finding in common the necessary solutions for the durable economic development in the SME sector. Also next year will take place the first REGIONAL FORUM OF THE YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS from the cross-border region, event with an impact both at national and regional level, being the first major event addressed to the young entrepreneurs from the two countries.
