Linear Algebra – 1 Quarter Elective Credit

This course is for students that have had difficulty with their 8th grade linear algebra course. The course is hands-on and is intended to help students be more prepared for their first high school math course.

Physical Education – Fit for Life I – Quarter 1 Credit This is the high school quarter 1 course for physical education. (If you pass Quarter 1, you will have the option to take Quarter 2 via MPS Online, July 27 – August 20, 2015)

Health Science I – Quarter 1 Credit

This is the high school quarter 1 course for health science. (If you pass Quarter 1, you will have the option to take Quarter 2 via MPS Online, July 27 – August 20, 2015)

Guitar – 1 Quarter Fine Arts Credit

If you are trying to work ahead, it is recommended that you take two of the fine arts classes available in order to complete one semester of your high school fine arts requirements. If you are taking the course more for fun, it is not necessary to take two fine arts courses as a Fast Track Scholar.

Website Design 101 – 1 Quarter Elective Credit

The Website Design 101 course is the first course students can take that puts them on the discovery path to a career in digital media. Reve Academy has partnered with Minneapolis Public Schools to provide students in our after school programs with the tools they need to be competitive in the field of digital marketing and to dream with direction. In this program, students will be exploring their own interests and passions and lean how to build a website of their own!

Work Readiness – 1 Quarter Elective Credit

Students learn about the sixteen different career pathways that exist in Minnesota. Through a series of activities, lessons, and personal explorations, students learn how to apply for a job, create a resume, and determine what careers interest them and what they have to do to in high school and beyond to have a career in any specific field. Students also gain knowledge of internship opportunities in high school.

Robotics – 1 Quarter Elective Credit

The robotics course is based on the Engineering w/N1 LabVIEW High School Robotics Activities Curriculum by Pitsco and is an introduction to robotics and engineering. Students will build custom robots using the LEGO 9797 and LEGO Tetrix Robotic Kits. This robotics course is the bridge between middle School FIRST Lego League and the high school FIRST Robotics Compeititon.
