MEETING:General Meeting

CALLED TO ORDER:7:53 Steve Schneiders

INTRODUCTIONSComplete

NEW BUSINESS:

  • Steve asked for motion to approve Novemberminutes – Stephanie Halcisak & Ian Mitchell
  • Nick with Net2Sky/Vision Pro – now able to send out emails & working to implement being able to communicate via text. They are creating a huge data base for Fallston rec – you can sort by program, age group etc… you can send out Dave Dorsey programmer can manipulate the data base to do what you want. He is here today to open the floor & answer any questions to those programs perhaps not using it & field any questions. Steve explained that one concern is that it is cost effective –the cost is $3 per person plus PayPal 2.2% per person. Typically programs increase fees by $5 and it covers the cost. At close of registrations fees are synced and money is dispersed to programs. Vision Pro & Net2Sky does not touch the money until the end. Nick will email his contact info and we will forward it out to programs
  • Mike O’Conner, previous board member has stepped down & Will Kirby has been voted in as Board Member, Welcome Will!

PRESIDENTS REPORT:

  • Friday June 8th – annual volunteer dinner – open to all volunteers – if celebrating landmark year – let Steve know and they will be recognized & receive their volunteer pin
  • Disciplinary action given to anyone wasn’t previously communicated to other rec councils – it was now changed so that anytime this happens any suspensions – expulsions etc… will be communicated county wide & upheld county wide

  • Cancellation dates are being sent out to programs continually –please monitor
  • Mike is still splitting time between here & Joppatowne Rec
  • Blue cans down from press box are gone & football has no other bins out as of now. Ian said he may be talking about propane containers – Ian will have Suburban pick them up. Mike will confirm with Ian that is what the county is talking about
