Contents and purpose of contract / This contract details the principles for the docent's participation in the work of the faculty or department, and the benefits and rights the university gives the docent in connection with this work.
The purpose of this contract is to create the opportunity for docents who are actively interested in working at the university to operate in their own field to the benefit of the academic community.
This contract will only be made with docents who are not part of the academic community, but this contract does not constitute employment at the university.
The unit that made this contract will maintain a list of docents, with whom it has made a docent contract.
Extent of participation in university work / The docent is available for the following duties in his/her field:
Teaching
Supervising student theses
Giving expert statements and statements on student theses
Acting as opponent in dissertations
Participating in and leading research projects and other projects
Other duties
Compensation / The university will compensate the professor for contracted work in accordance with a separate agreement.

access to staff education offered by the university in accordance with Training and Development Unit

access to the university's sports services in accordance with UniSport conditions

Validity period / This contract is valid for

After the validity period, the contract may be renewed. Each party may terminate the contract before the end of the validity period. In that case, the contract will end at the end of the month, in which the other party has received written notice of termination.
Copies and signatures / There are two identical copies of this contract, one for the docent and one for the department or faculty.
