29 Now, Lord, look on their threats, and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word,
30 by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus."
31 And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.
1. Understand That God Knows About It.
Acts 4:29(a) - “Now, Lord, look on their threats…”
Hebrews 13:5 "I will never leave you nor forsake you."
2. Ask For Strength And Confidence That Is Greater Than That Of The Enemy!
Acts 4:29 (b) “…and grant to Your servants that with all boldness they may speak Your word”
3. Believe That God Is Working A Miracle For You!
Acts 4:30 – “by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy Servant Jesus.”
4. Let The Holy Spirit Do The Work For You!
Acts 4:31 – “And when they had prayed, the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.”
Acts 1:8 “But you shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you…”

1. Understand That God Knows About It.
A. vs 29(a) - “Now, Lord, look on their threats…”
B. We want to make sure God is aware of our attacks
C. Hebrews 13:5 "I will never leave you nor forsake you."
2. Ask For Strength And Confidence That Is Greater Than That Of The Enemy!
A. vs. 29(b) “…and grant to Your servants that with all boldness
they may speak Your word”
B. The Disciples needed courage, strength, and confidence to face
the enemies.
C. Should we feel bad to need the same?
D. Our humanness brings out fears and questions, but God
through His Spirit brings the strength and confidence we need.

3. Believe That God Is Working A Miracle For You!
A. vs 30 – “by stretching out Your hand to heal, and that signs
and wonders may be done through the name of Your holy
Servant Jesus.”
B. This was a prayer for miracles
C. The Disciples knew that what they had to do would require all
their strength and effort PLUS God’s help!
4. Let The Holy Spirit Do The Work For You!
A. vs 31 – “And when they had prayed, the place where they were
assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with
the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness.”
B. There is a definite relationship between the filing of the Holy
Spirit and Boldness…
Acts 1:8 “But you shall receive power after that the Holy Ghost is
come upon you…”
C. Prayer brought the power of the Holy Ghost
D. You can’t expect God to answer and help unless you talk to
Him.
