Scholarship Opportunities
The Chris Johnson Memorial Scholarship has been generously endowed by anonymously by a generous supporter of the Tennessee Angus Association. The value of each scholarship will vary according to need and the number of qualified applicants. Applicants may apply for trade school, undergraduate or graduate programs.
Application Procedure
- Applications will become available at the beginning of February during the year of application. Applications may be downloaded from the TN Angus Association webpage. A printed copy may be requested from the Tennessee Junior Advisors.
- Completed applications must be returned to the Junior Advisors by February 28. It’s preferred that applications be typed. Additional paper may be used if more room is needed for any responses. It’s most important that your responses are detailed and complete to help the Scholarship Committee better know you. - After reviewing all applications, the Scholarship Committee will contact all applicants by mail or email. The scholarship recipients will be invited to the dinner at the Annual Tennessee Beef Agribition in March. Recipients are expected to attend this presentation. If unable to attend, the student must contact the Junior AAdvisor prior to the awards service.
- This application is for one school year, however a student may reapply in following years if qualifications are met. Students may only receive a total of four scholarships.
