OUTSTANDING VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR AWARD!
The LFA-DMV will present the Pamela B. Greenberg Award for Outstanding Volunteer in recognition of steadfast service and dedication to the chapter, lupus patients and their families at the Purple Passion Gala to End Lupus in November. The award celebrates the ongoing passionate commitment to our lupus community by our devoted volunteers.
Nominees should have passion for making our chapter better, an ongoing commitment over this year or several years and give time and talents selflessly to assist our Chapter with our mission.
Our Mission:
We are dedicated to finding the causes of and cure for lupus and providing support and services to all people affected by lupus.
Our Chapter provides services in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. We offer current information, education programs, support groups, and personalized help with the questions that arise for those living with lupus and their family and friends. We also support research and promote lupus awareness.
