Dear Haggard Parents,

On behalf of the Haggard Middle School PTA, I would like to extend a warm welcome to those of you who are new to Haggard as well as returning parents who continue to support our PTA in its endeavors. We have an awesome school that is second to none, and the same is true for our extremely supportive parents!

All of the PTA-sponsored programs, parent education, student programs, celebrations, school spirit, staff appreciation, field trips, classroom support, recognitions, community outreach and socials we provide are because of your generous financial contributions and long-standing PTA support. We have 100% participation from our faculty and staff and want to challenge our parents to do the same. Contributing to the PTA shows your student you support his or her school but doesn’t commit you to volunteering. So please consider joining, purchasing school supplies and or making a donation as we could really use your help funding all the exciting things we have planned for the upcoming school year.

**Please note on August 10 at Eagle Round-up the school supplies and spirit wear will be

first come first serve and we will only be able to take check or cash.**

There many volunteer opportunities available such as helping with Eagle Round-up, working the school store, chaperoning socials, career day, baking for teachers, and reading for exams … there’s really something for everyone who wants to be involved. Additionally, do not forget to visit the link to the PISD online volunteer background check – it is necessary to renew this every year.

Eagle Round-Up is on Thursday, August 10, 2017.

8th graders from 8-10 am 7th graders from 11-1 pm 6th graders from 2 - 4 pm

The school will have class schedules ready, as well as bus transportation and meal plan information and counselors will be available.

6th grade open house (August 17, 6:00pm – 7:30 pm) is right after their Round-up time

The 7th and 8th graders have their open house in September.
