1.  Success stories:

*Gull lake is utilizing Book share and using Voice Dream app. with a lot of success

*Doug shared about a student in Vicksburg who received a wheel chair mount last year and is successfully utilizing it.

2.  Proposals:

*No proposals this month.

3.  Region 3 report out:

*Region 3 has not yet met this school year.

*The Region 3 coordinator sent out an email re: an upcoming training

4.  SETT

*Several members report using the SETT for IEPs that are addressing new AT

*Kelly requested support/training with SETT, several members volunteered to attend her first SETT meeting for support.

*Google Fest, AssisTechKnow at Kent ISD Oct. 15-16th, Laura will share a writing screener that she received last year.

b.  Ones that committee members have attended

*Doug/Micah attended the summer institute in TC with Joy Zabala. *Doug received a handout from the institute with ways to integrate the SETT into the IEP. Doug will share the PDF files from the conference onto Basecamp.

c.  Other sharing of information

*Mark asked about programs used to monitor/track behavior:

Several people use Class DoJo and discussed features

a.  PD subcommittee

*February 12th, tentative date for AT Experience (playground) PD

*Need PODD training follow-up (check with Michelle)

*Discussed possible PDs for Chromebooks/Class DoJo

*Discussed possible PDs for SETT framework

*May get some Region 3 representatives to present at a PD

b.  Forms subcommittee

*Updated KRESA School use agreement form

c.  Website subcommittee

*Cleaned up website e.g.-deleting non-current committee members

*Added tentative date for AT Experience PD to the website

*Need to update proposal template to a PDF or some other template that is fillable.

d.  Budget subcommittee

*Wants to change the form for requests for repairs, need a link (icon) from our website page to IT

*Removed the request form from charts/forms icon on website

8.  Additional Items

*Discussed trying to get general education people (e.g., tech coaches, instructional technology staff to attend A.T. PDs)

*www.digitalpassport.org (free) lessons on digital citizenship

9.  Take away from meeting

*New members expressed pleasure with being a part of the group and the improvement in the group since participating several years ago.
