SUBMITTING YOUR APPLICATION

1.

The application form plays an important part in the selection process. The information you provide on the form will decide whether you are shortlisted and invited for an interview or not. It is therefore important that you read the job description, person specification and any background information on the NFTS carefully.

It is also good to remember that those involved in the selection process cannot guess or make assumptions about you, so please make sure that you complete all sections of the application form as fully as possible.

We want to know why you are applying for this post and what makes you the most suitable person for the job. Please think carefully about whether you have the experience, skills and knowledge required for the post and what evidence you can provide to demonstrate it.

2.

Please complete the application in black ink or on a PC because the form needs to be photocopied.

If the space provided on the application form is not enough, please attach a continuation sheet, clearly marked with your name and the job title you are applying for.

3.

Please submit your application to the Personnel Department at the address shown on the last page of the application form and at the end of this document.

Closing dates for all applications will be shown on the webpage or on the job description. Please note the application deadline carefully, as applications received after the closing date will not be considered.

We are unable to respond to all applications we receive. Therefore, if you have not received an invitation to interview within four weeks after the closing date, regrettably, you should assume that you have not been successful on this occasion. The NFTS cannot enter into email correspondence about this vacancy.

4.

Any information provided by you on the application form will only be used by those involved in the recruitment process. The Equal Opportunities monitoring form will be kept separate from your application form and will not be used as part of the selection process.

All data relating to unsuccessful applications will be destroyed after six months. The application form of the successful candidate (including the Equal Opportunities monitoring form) will become part of his/her personal file.
