Box 37 / Joshua Lindsey was sued by William Smith for a $100 debt he owed on a promissory note that he and Robert McNutt signed in October, 1799. In court in 1802, Joshua agreed to pay $80 to Smith. Mc Nutt had disappeared.

/ Levin/Leaven Cooper sued Charles Crabb, administrator of Joshua’s estate. The case was in the chancery. It was continued from the June 1823 term to the March 1824 term when it was ordered to be certified to the Supreme Court.
