It is with great interest that I submit this letter as an application for the position of research assistant in a prestigious institution as AUB. With about two years in experience in wet lab work and a Master’s Degree I n Immunology and Microbiology, I believe I would be a very excellent candidate.

Throughout my years, I received training in conducting studies and literature search using various databases, as well as analyzing data. I have kept inventories and bills in lab in check. I am well educated in scientific writing as well as lab protocols/ethics. I have acquired through my work the dedication, patience, and strong attention to details that scientific research demands.

Although I am not experienced in all of the techniques you have mentioned, I assure you that I am a fast learner, and even taught some of the techniques mentioned in my resume myself. I will look forward to add the variety of new knowledge and skills I would gain from working in your lab.

Thank you for reviewing this letter and the accompanying material.

Sincerely,

Samah Hachem
