Kathy J.-August 18, 2017—Colonial Theatre-“Manifesto Against Ageism”-organized by Village to Village and Organized Acts of Kindness-See Kathy J. for $10.00 fundraising tickets.

Jill K.-August 13-19, 2017 is National Health Center week. Sunday, 8/13-ACHS representatives will be at the Farmer’s Market in Littleton from 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM for free blood pressure checks, etc., Thursday, 8/19—ACHS representatives will be at the Littleton Food Co-Op for a cooking demonstration (time thereof missed by author of this bulletin).

Program (Ray D.): Weathervane Theatre Cabaret Group

The groupwas introduced by the Weathervane Theatre’s longtime Managing Director, Lyn O. Winter.

The group performs three times per week at the Omni Mount Washington during the Weathervane’s performance season, including Friday evening performance in “The Cave” featuring music from the Prohibition era. The group is also available for booking at private events.

In total, group members Mike (piano), Taylor (vocals), Grayson (vocals), Alex (vocals), and Meg (vocals) (the four vocalists are depicted from left to right, below)performed six songs for the club, including a variety of group, duet, and solo pieces.

In case you missed it:

October 21st is the date set for Lobsterfest.

We are committed to doing it at Bretton Woods one last time this year. This is the only date that Bretton Woods would offer to us and they are slowly squeezing us out. So, the Board is already looking ahead to future years and alternatives to this event. Please forward ideas to Chris to pass along. Ribfest anyone?Any suggestions to make this year’s event more family friendly are welcome.
