RMHA Apparel Guidelines

The following parameters have been created by RMHA to support our membership and teams to purchase apparel for the 2014-2015 hockey season and therefore forward for the next 3 consecutive seasons.

RMHA has established an exclusive apparel program with TBS. Establishing partnerships with an apparel company of this caliber is a strategic decision for the association ensuring long term reliability and stability to benefit the entire organization. All RMHA teams are required to purchase apparel through TBS only. There are contractual obligations that RMHA must oblige with. First and foremost RMHA is required to use TBS as the SOLE SUPPLIER of RMHA merchandise including team apparel. Any teams that dishonor the RMHA apparel obligations with TBS and source out apparel with vendors through purchase, donation of apparel or gift in kind will be subject to disciplinary action decided on by the RMHA executive board. The apparel in question will not be endorsed or permitted to be worn at any sanctioned events when representing RMHA at any capacity.

RMHA defines apparel to be any clothing/garment that a RMHA team purchases/receives by donation or gift in kind with identical dominate markings/lettering/embroidery on the clothing/garment to identify the RMHA team with a collective look.

RMHA has selected a line of apparel that will give our association an identity to be recognized throughout arenas and any places teams travel to. RMHA has chosen these apparel items in order to continue working towards a common look for the entire association. Any Apparel that does not fall within the specified RMHA approved catalogue from TBS will require special approval from the RMHA executive before order placement.

The Rocky Minor Hockey Association’s name and RMHA team level names are the property of the Association. The apparel items through the TBS catalogue have approval for the use of RMHA name, RMHA team level name and Logo. No other vendors have the permission to use the RMHA name, RMHA team level name or logo on apparel. On all team apparel the RMHA logo is required to be the dominate logo.

The approved colors for the Association are: black, green, and white. Team jackets or any other type of identifiable garments shall be at a standard established by the RMHA and must be dominate black. All authorized use of the RMHA logo and name must also reflect this color policy.

All orders for team apparel will be submitted through the Fundraising Chair. There will be no individual teams submitting orders to TBS. All orders for the apparel will be paid with Cheque from the RMHA Divisional accounts. Teams are responsible for the purchase cost of the apparel for their order RMHA will not fund or float apparel purchases.

Association apparel fit night will be scheduled once a year at the beginning of the season to view the apparel and ensure the child is fit for the proper size.
