· IBM’s Business Rules SME on the IRS PRIME CADE $20 billion 15-year IRS Modernization Program. As a BIZRULES sub-contractor, I was one of IBM’s “Key Personnel” on their IRS contract.
· Chief Rules Architect and Knowledge Engineer on GE’s Tax Minimization Program, Knowledge Supply Chain Program, and Global Compliance Program. Designing Enterprise Architecture Models, Business Rule Models, and Business Process Models to help GE document, assess, test, and certify that proper Finance/Tax rules, processes, and controls are in place to comply with Sarbanes-Oxley Act, GAAP, IFRS, and IRS tax rules. My rules harvesting methodology, knowledge acquisition process, and knowledge engineering process is used to (1) discover, define, document, and model GE’s Compliance Rules and Tax Expert Rules,
and (2) build GE’s Global Tax Expert Knowledgebase (GEKB), and (3) build GE Tax Applications.
· Designed, built, and implemented Mobil Oil’s Global Knowledge Management Strategy and Expert System Strategy. Created Mobil’s Global Lubricant Knowledgebase (LKB), an integrated suite of rule-based expert advisors, product recommenders, and equipment troubleshooters used by Sales Force to seize market share.
· Developed the BIZRULES® VISION™ Methodology for defining, documenting, managing, and automating business rules and processes, and for preserving expert knowledge. Used by GE, Mobil Oil, and IRS. (Three of the Fortune 10 use my BRM BPM KM EA methodology).
