1.5 QUALITY ASSURANCE
1.5.1 Manufacturer Qualifications: Minimum 5 years experience manufacturing similar products.
1.5.2 Installer Qualifications: Installation shall be performed by a licensed AccuCrete Applicator.
** NOTE TO SPECIFIER ** Consider mock-up for FusionTec product. Include a mock-up if the project size and/or quality warrant taking such a precaution. The following is one example of how a mock-up on a large project might be specified. When deciding on the extent of the mock-up, consider all the major different types of work on the project. 1.5.3 Mock-Up: Provide a mock-up for evaluation of surface preparation techniques and application workmanship.
1.5.3.1 The mock-up shall demonstrate the full range of appearance and workmanship to be expected in completed work.
1.5.3.2 Locate mock-up on site in location as directed by Architect. Clean the sample panel installation using the same materials and tools as planned for the final construction.
1.5.3.3 Obtain Architect's acceptance of mock-up before start of work.
1.5.3.4 Do not proceed with remaining work until work, workmanship are approved by Architect.
1.5.3.5 Modify mock-up area as required to produce acceptable work.

1.6 DELIVERY, STORAGE, AND HANDLING
1.6.1 Materials shall be delivered to the location in unopened factory containers. Upon arrival, materials shall be inspected for damage and manufacturer informed of any discrepancies. Deficient materials shall not be used and shall be removed from the project.
1.6.2 Materials shall be stored in an enclosed, protected location and safeguarded from damage.
1.7 PROJECT CONDITIONS
1.7.1 The building shall be enclosed and maintained at a temperature above 50 degrees F (10 degrees C) with adequate ventilation before, during and after the installation of the flooring underlayment. Mechanical ventilation should be used in areas with poor ventilation to expedite final curing.

AccuCrete is the most versatile Gypsum Concrete Flooring Solution. Applications range from office buildings, retail facilities, sports complexes and more. It is also ideal for use over wood subfloors in mutli-family, light commercial, and single family construction. Fast setting, quick application; for light trade traffic within hours. Delete system and options not required.
2.2 GYPSUM FLOOR UNDERLAYMENT
2.2.1 Gypsum Floor Underlayment:

2.2.1.2 Product: AccuCrete Green floor underlayment, with up to 80 percent recycled content, as manufactured by Allied Custom Gypsum.
2.2.1.3 Acceptable Substrates.
2.2.1.3.1 Wood: Pourable over wood substrate, 3/4 inch to 3 inches (19 mm to 76 mm thick).
2.2.1.3.2 Concrete: Can be poured from 3/8 inch (9.5 mm) to 3 inches (76 mm) thick over concrete substrates.
2.2.1.3.3 Feather edges shall be provided where scheduled or required with patching compound.

2.3 GYPSUM POURABLE THERMAL UNDERLAYMENT
2.3.1 Gypsum Pourable Thermal Underlayment:

2.3.1.1 Product: AccuRadiant pourable thermal underlayment as manufactured by Allied Custom Gypsum.
2.3.1.2 Product: AccuRadiant Green pourable thermal underlayment, with up to 55 percent recycled content, as manufactured by Allied Custom Gypsum.
2.3.1.3 Description: A pourable thermal underlayment that delivers even heat distribution and a smooth finish compatible with ceramic, marble and tile custom floors.
2.3.1.4 Mix:
2.3.1.4.1 In accordance with manufacturer specified custom formulation, between 3.0 to 6.0 gallons (11.4 l to 22.8 L) of water to one 80 lb (36 kg) bag of AccuRadiant Brand Underlayment.
2.3.1.4.2 In accordance with manufacturer specified custom formulation, requirements for compressive strength, add maximum of 1.8 cubic feet (0.05 cu. m) of sand, for each 80 lb (36 kg) bag of AccuRadiant Floor Underlayment.

2.4 HYDRAULIC SELF LEVELING UNDERLAYMENT

2.4.1 Hydraulic Self Leveling Underlayment:

2.4.1.2 Product: AccuLevel G40 Green self-leveling underlayment, with up to 45 percent recycled content, as manufactured by Allied Custom Gypsum.
2.4.1.3 Description: Premium polymer-modified self-leveling underlayment.
2.4.1.4 Mix: Aggregate, sand blended on site.
2.4.1.4.1 In accordance with manufacturer specified custom formulation, add 3.0 to 4.0 gallons (11.4 to 15 L) of water and 0.80 to 1.40 cubic feet (.08 to .11 cu. m) sand per 80 lb (36 kg) bag of AccuLevel G40.
2.4.1.4.2 Mix to a smooth, lump-free consistency. Use the least quantity of water within the manufacturer specified range for custom formulation to achieve desired slump.
2.4.1.5 Materials:

Large areas of less than 1/8 inch (3 mm) thickness may be best suited for a trowelable patching compound. The high compressive strength is ideal for most residential and commercial renovation projects. AccuLevel® G50 is suitable for use with tile, stone, or floating and glue-down floor covering systems. 2.4.2 Hydraulic Self Leveling Underlayment:
2.4.2.1 Product: AccuLevel G50 self-leveling underlayment as manufactured by Allied Custom Gypsum.
2.4.2.2 Description: Lightweight, free flowing, pumpable underlayment for use in renovation as a low-density self-leveling underlayment. Typical applications from 1/8 inch to 1 inch (3 mm to 25 mm) with "feather" edge capability.
2.4.2.3 Mix: Aggregate/sand free, blended slurry of cement containing polymer modified Portland cement and high strength gypsum cement.
2.4.2.3.1 Dry Density: 90 to 100 lb/cf (1330 to 1500 kg/cu. m).
2.4.2.3.2 Compressive Strength (at 28 days): 4,000 psi (27560 kPa).
2.4.2.3.3 Add powder product to water at a mixing ratio of 3.4 to 3.75 gallons (12.9 to 14.2 L) of water per 80 lb (36 kg) bag.
2.4.2.3.4 Mix to a smooth, lump-free consistency. Use the least quantity of water within the manufacturer specified range for custom formulation to achieve desired slump.
2.4.2.4 Materials:
2.4.2.4.1 Hydraulic Cement: AccuLevel G50.
2.4.2.4.2 Primer: Manufacturer approved primer over concrete substrates.
2.4.2.4.3 Water: Potable water, free of contaminants.

2.5 SOUND ATTENUATING UNDERLAYMENT
2.5.1 Sound Attenuating Underlayment: AccuQuiet Sound Mat Underlayment as manufactured by Allied Custom Gypsum.
2.5.1.1 Description:
2.5.1.1.1 Sound control mat underlayment system with perimeter tape designed for use with AccuCrete Pourable Underlayments.
2.5.1.1.2 Polypropylene mono-filament mesh, bonded to lightweight, water-tight technical membrane to prevent leaks of slurry and water through the sound mat.
2.5.1.1.3 Connections: Self sealing overlap flap.

2.5.1.6.2 Perimeter Isolations Tape: 1/8 inch (3 mm) closed cell foam strips to isolate areas with acoustical treatment from adjacent walls and non-treated areas.
2.5.1.6.3 Gypsum Cement: AccuCrete Brand Floor Underlayment, minimum 2,000 psi compressive strength.

FusionTec combines the fire-rated and sound deadening technologies of AccuCrete Gypsum/AccuLevel Hydraulic Underlayment and AccuQuiet Sound Mat with the self-leveling topping, UltraPlan M20 Plus. 2.6 GYPSUM INTEGRATED FLOOR/CEILING SYSTEM
2.6.1 Gypsum Integrated Floor/Ceiling System: FusionTEC Integrated Floor/Ceiling Assembly as manufactured by Allied Custom Gypsum.
2.6.1.1 Construction shall comply with UL assembly indicated on the drawings.
2.6.1.2 Integrated Floor Systems is designed for residential and commercial use, and is approved for light rubber wheeled and pedestrian traffic. It shall not be used in heavy commercial or industrial settings (heavy-rolling loads or high point-loads).
2.6.1.3 When installed over wood substrates, 1.5 inches (38 mm) minimum thickness AccuLevel G40 or 1 inch (25 mm) minimum with reinforcing wire lath is required, and a minimum AccuLevel G40 compressive strength of 3,500 PSI.
** NOTE TO SPECIFIER ** AccuQuiet products are only required for acoustical treatment of floor-ceiling assemblies. Delete if not required.
2.6.1.4 When used in conjunction with AccuQuiet, this system requires a minimum of 1.5 inches (38 mm) of AccuLevel G40 at a minimum compressive strength of 3,500 PSI.
2.6.1.5 In bonded systems, expansion joints shall be honored by saw-cutting the gypsum cement and Ultrapla M20 Plus to the depth of the original substrate, and to the width of the original expansion joint.
2.6.1.6 When used at or below grade, a moisture vapor barrier shall be provided.
2.6.1.7 Materials:

** NOTE TO SPECIFIER ** AccuLevel SD30 is a premium polymer and Portland cement modified gypsum based underlayment. With high flow character, the product is pumpable and fast applied without the need for troweling, and is designed to deliver a smooth monolithic surface over corrugated steel construction assemblies. Thinner and lighter than conventional concrete, AccuLevel SD30 removes weight from the construction assembly, thereby reducing the overall cost of the structure. Delete system and options not required.
2.7 GYPSUM FLOOR UNDERLAYMENT FOR CORRUGATED METAL DECK
2.7.1 Gypsum Floor Underlayment for Corrugated Metal Deck: AccuLevel SD30 Gypsum Underlayment for Corrugated Steel Deck Construction as manufactured by Allied Custom Gypsum.
2.7.1.1 Acceptable Substrates: Corrugated Steel Deck.
2.7.1.1.1 Minimum Steel Deck Standards: Minimum 22 gauge (0.759 mm) galvanized steel deck with minimum flute depth of 9/16 inch (14 mm).
