“Ladies and gentleman! Boys and girls! People of all ages! I would like to introduce you to the most remarkable, tremendous, fabulous camel in the world! Please put your hands together for Shaquil the Camel and his trainer, Madam Patricia!” the ringmaster at the circus bellowed.

Thunderous applause erupted from the crowd as the famed camel made his appearance. The mammoth, male camel wore a bright, sequined cape with his name on it in big capital letters. Madam Patricia walked beside him, extending her hands to the crowd in a welcoming gesture.

“Good afternoon,” Madam Patricia remarked to the crowd. “Sit back, relax, and enjoy the show! You can rely on His Majesty, Shaquil to give you a show you will remember!”

She released the strap that wrapped around his neck and traced a square on the floor of the circus tent. Shaquil quickly made his way to the square and walked carefully on the lines, almost as if he were on a balance beam. When he reached each corner, he stood on his hind legs and waved to the crowd. His failure to wobble or stray from the lines was amazing! Each trick he performed was better than the one before it.

I know you probably don’t believe me, but you have to have a little faith in my story. This camel was the best part of the circus! The tricks he could do were astounding. If I had to fill a time capsule with all the most interesting things I’ve done from this year, I would definitely include a picture of Shaquil the Camel in it! He gave a show to remember!
