Preston & Thornbury Neighbourhood Houses (P&TNH)

P&TNH, in partnership with “Friends of Mayer Park” are holding six Open Air Cinemas over the summer period. - This is a free event open to the public with expected attendance of between 500 – 800 people. The event is held in Mayer Park, right beside the Leinster Grove Hall where the TACM is held.

The actual film commences at sunset. People are encouraged to come along at 5 pm onwards for a pre-film picnic, (or buy dinner from the food vans) andbe part of the community while also browsingand purchasing from TACM market stalls.

P&TNH will be organising a small scale market of 12 stalls on each of the Cinema dates.

Bookings are open to all stallholders who have participated in the 2016 TACM. Bookings are essential and will be managed by P&TNH:

Cost:

TACM stall holder fee will be $20 per stall – bring own table. P&TNH will cover Liability Insurance

At each market there will be 3 ‘no fee’ stalls allocated to the Members of the 2016 TACM Committeeof Management. Each committee member is entitled to three, free stalls over the summer period as recognition and appreciation of the hard work they have done in supporting TACM in 2016.

Cinema Dates:

26th November / 17th December
14th January / 4th February
25th February / 18th March

Payments:

For the 26th November Market, payment will be taken on the evening: P&TNH will have an eftpos machine and will provide receipts for all payments.

For the remaining markets (December – February) – On receiving the emailed application, PTNH will invoice all stallholders for payment. On receipt of payment stallholders will be allocated their stall.

Bookings: As there are limited places we suggest you apply ASAP to secure your booking. Stallholders can book up to 6 dates – “First in, First Served” – However, There won’t be more than two stalls selling similar products, so if you are the third application for a market where there are already two stalls with similar products, we won’t be able to accept your application.

General Information

  • We won’t have more than 2 stalls selling similar products.
  • Set-up of tables will be open from 5 pm and stall holders are encouraged to be ready to sell by 5.30 – pack up immediately prior to the commencement of the film. (aprox 8 – 8.30)
  • All tables, chairs, canopies etc. are to be supplied by the stall holder
  • Each stall holder is responsible for their own set-up and pack-up and clearing of any rubbish.
  • Table allocation will be allocated prior to the market – with each stall holder receiving the set up plan via email.
