2726 Sinton Place (Graneto) – David Graneto submitted plans for a revision to a new garage. Wants to raise garage door 6”. APPROVED
27900 Gates Mills (Friendship Circle) – Joel Frezel submitted plans for new signs; 2 directional and 1 main ID sign to replace existing sign. Signs are circular, metallic. Approved as noted, makes sure it meets code.
32000 Chagrin (Orange School) – Edward Parker submitted plans for an addition. Roof is failing because of the fire retardant on the wood. Adding a 450 sq. ft. addition that includes restrooms, ADA compliance. APPROVED
2355 Botanica (Petros Homes) – Tom Ferry submitted plans for a new home. He has built this plan before except there are subtle changes in the elevation. The ARB suggests he makes changes so that it does not look exactly the same as the others. Change the circular window to a square window; make changes in siding and stone. Too similar to the house down the road. Make 3 windows a double window. Change “wall” looking side, possibly break it up with corner boards or pop out second floor. Add wainscot, adjust doorway for light, and consider lighter siding than the neighbors. NOT APPROVED – Needs to resubmit.
32050 Fairmount (Nook) – Marc Graham submitted plans for an addition. Changing garage, adding room to the second floor. Garage will be torn down and replaced. ARB wants them to keep cupola, may not be possible because they are changing pitch of roof. APPROVED.
32780 Creekside (Ross) – Lee Pozek resubmitted changes made to an addition. Changes were to the garage and the entrance stairs. Moving front wall forward. ARB suggests sloping roof, adding transom, possibly adding brackets to cantilever. 1st floor addition – 1000 sq. ft. 2nd floor – 500-600 sq. ft. APPROVED, resubmit. Ok to start foundation.
12 Brandywood (Lewis) – Todd Clarke submitted plans for an addition to the master suite. Preliminary. Will resubmit w/more details. APPROVED AS NOTED.
