Position: / Scientist –Aquaculture, Fisheries SpecialistLocation： / Haisheng International Inc.,Tarrytown, NY
Main Responsibilities
1. TheFishery Scientist is responsible for providing scientific expertise tosupport the management of marine fisheries
2. TheFishery Scientist’s duties include summarizing and analyzing data andrelevant information pertaining to fisheries, assisting in the analysis ofproposed fishery management measures, and developing solutions to complexmarine resource challenges.
3. Develop,execute and continuously improves a strategic plan for aquaculture division,allocate and utilize available resources to maximize return on strategicplan;
4. Developand manager partnership with aquaculture universities and organization inU.S.;
5. Leverageindividualized opportunities to exchange knowledge with researchers,supply-chain customer and other stakeholders
6. Organizeand deliver technical training, coaching and leadership to aquaculturedivision for the development and commercial growth aquaculture industry;
7. Researchand deliver advanced aquaculture technology to fields;
8. Researchfield development opportunity worldwide;
9. Assistaquaculture division with filed development and management in China;
Position Requirements
1. Masteror Ph.D. in Aquaculture, Biotechnology or related fields. Knowledge of Fisheriesor related field of study.
2. Knowledgeof U.S. fishery management institutions and relevant
3. Planand implement seafood program in consultation with fish farm owners
4. Willingto travel domestically and internationally;
5. Ableto perform successfully in a fast-paced, dynamic, team-based environment;
6. Strongresearch and communication skills;
7. Selfmotivated and assertive with a result orientation
