* EVENTS *
- WEEK OF RESPECT – October 3-7th.
- 5th GRADE BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT – Wednesday, October 5th at 6:30pm.
- 6TH GRADE BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT – Thursday, October 6th at 6:30pm.
- ROOTS & SHOOTS PEP RALLY – Friday, October 7th.
- NO SCHOOL – Monday, October 10th.
- SCHOOL STORE – Held during lunch periods on Thursday October 13th and Friday, October 14th. Please send your child with a little spending money so they can do some shopping!
- ROOTS & SHOOTS – Backyard Work Day on Friday, October 14th.
- CELEBRITY CHEF – Do not miss this great event being held the evening of Thursday, October 20th. More information to come!
- BOOK FAIR – October 24th through October 28th.
- GUIDANCE PARENT WORKSHOP – Getting your Child Organized. Wednesday, October 26th at 10am or 7pm.
- DIABETES WALK – Wednesday, October 26th. More information for this event will come home soon!
- MARKET DAY SALE PICK-UP – Wednesday, October 26th from 5:00-6:00pm.
- PTO After School Program Fall Sessions will start this month with Dodgeball, Cross Country, Theatre Arts, and MadScience. Please visit the PTO website for more information.
* REMINDERS *
- IMPORTANT – Hillside PTO Website. Go to www.brrsd.k12.nj.us, click on Schools, then Hillside, then PTO to access up to date information and forms!
- IMPORTANT – Hillside E-Blasts are going to be used exclusively (with a few exceptions) in 2011-2012 to communicate upcoming events, news, and important information. The PTO will be sending out one e-mail per week containing all information for that week. The first e-blast of the month will contain the PTO monthly newsletter.

- Our PTO would not be successful without the help of all of our wonderful volunteers! We still have the following Chair and Co-Chair positions open that need to be filled in order for these events/fundraisers to be held. Please consider taking on one of these Chair positions, or volunteering, so our students don’t miss out!
