*Job Description / About the Position:
SunGard is looking for an experienced Sr. Security Engineer for our growing Security Services team to ensure that applications and infrastructure are designed and implemented to the highest standards.
You will be expected to analyze system services, operating systems, networks and applications from a security perspective and to discover new security issues that appear under new threat scenarios.
The position requires expert level experience with antivirus and malware protection software from the leading security vendors.
We are looking for a self-motivated, highly independent ambitious person that can help our Security Engineering Team be a premier managed security provider.
Responsibilities:
- Architect, design, implement, support, and evaluate security-focused tools and services including project leadership roles.
- Evaluate and recommend new and emerging security products and technologies.
- Creating Procedures, Standards and Guidelines around security products.
- Working with Security Vendors (Symantec, McAfee, Blue Coat, and Microsoft).
- High level troubleshooting of security applications and appliances.
- Participate in tier 3 and tier 4 security operations support.
- Mentor junior members of the team.
* Skills & Qualifications: / WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Design and management of Microsoft Active Directory including Group Policies and DNS.
- Design and management of Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager v12.
- Design and management of McAfee Antivirus.
- Design and management of Authentication, Authorization, Accounting Systems such as RSA Authentication Manager and Cisco ACS utilizing protocols such as Radius and TACACS.
- Experience with Web Content Filtering Systems such as Blue Coat Proxy SG and McAfee Web Gateway.
- Experience with Email Protection solutions such as McAfee Email Gateway.
- Experience with McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO).
- Experience with SSL VPN solutions such as F5 Firepass and BIG-IP Access Policy Manager (APM).
- Expertise with UNIX & Windows operating systems and scripting skills.
- Strong experience and detailed technical knowledge in security engineering, system and network security, authentication and security protocols, cryptography, and application security.
- Knowledge of network and web related protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, UDP, IPSEC, HTTP, HTTPS, routing protocols) is required.
- At least 5 years of experience in Security Engineering is preferred.
- At least 10 years of Information System Security is preferred.
- MCSE and/or RHCE is required.
- CISSP preferred.
- BS degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience required.
- MUST HAVE STRONG KNOWLEDGE OF: Symantec Antivirus, Symantec EndPoint Protection, and Microsoft Active Directory.

Certification(s): /
- MCSE and/or RHCE is required.
- CISSP preferred.
