Things to do to prepare for the exam:

§  Read the lectures carefully—again.

§  Read the objectives at the beginning of each of the lectures.

§  Look at each of your WeBWorK assignments again.

§  Look at your quizzes again—make note of any corrections that have been made.

§  Look over the in-class activity that we did with Lecture 24 (see my webpage if you have lost it).

§  Do NOT wait until the night before the test to start studying.

§  Do NOT plan to ask all of your questions in office hours the day of the test!

What to expect on the exam:

§  We will NOT be using any kind of calculator for this exam.

§  You will have ONE HOUR to finish the test. It is your job to use the time wisely.

§  Be prepared to show all of your work. Correct answers without appropriate support work will not receive full credit.

§  NOTE: There will be NO calculator section on this exam.

What to bring to the exam:

§  A pencil—NOT a pen!

§  An eraser—maybe a big one.

§  Extra lead?

§  Your organized Notebook for the Notebook Check.
