Using your LEARN TCI account:

When you click on the Chapter 1 link, it will take you to the Sections Tab and you will be able to select different sections of the chapter. At this point, you should have already read the whole chapter, so now you can proceed with the next part of today’s computer assignment.

1.  Your first job will be to go through the chapter and find the vocabulary words from our first list (there are only three of the words in this chapter).

  1. When you find each word you need to click on it so that you can reveal the definition.
  2. Once the definition is revealed, highlight both the word and the definition, using the highlight tool.
  3. Once you have found the words and completed this exercise you can move on to the last portion of the class.

2.  For the second exercise you will need a partner, if you cannot find one, then one will be assigned to you.

  1. You and your partner will proceed to the CHAPTER READING CHALLENGE.
  2. This challenge is called “Crack the Code”.
  3. First read the directions for the game.
  4. Then you and your partner can proceed to completing the game.
