Accessible does not necessarily mean that output content must be made available for free... It means that the consortium must agree on appropriate licensing or clearing arrangements for any Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) arising from the project to ensure wider use and dissemination of the project results. The consortium and its members do not necessarily have to own the content they intend to make accessible through Europeana. They need to have the necessary rights in order to ensure the availability of the content to be contributed to Europeana. They must also agree on appropriate licensing or clearing arrangements for any Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) arising from the project to ensure wide use and dissemination of the project results.
