Part I Coaching: Addressing needs assessment, goal setting, planning, novice to expert, reflection, and fostering critical thinking development (1.5 CH)
- Anne Walker, RN, MSPersonality Styles, Challenging Situations, and Dealing with the ‘Difficult Preceptee’- Understanding personality styles helps in solving specific challenges faced by preceptors. (1.5 CH)

Part II Competence:Comprehensive clinical competence evaluation; with consideration of liability, research, evidence collection, and sampling.
- Anne Walker, RN, MS: Civility in the Workplace -Seeking Solutions to Interpersonal Challenges in the Clinical Setting: This presentation will identify issuesregarding interpersonal conflict in the workplace and individual and group responses that can bring resolution.
