COASTAL CONCERNS TEACHER WORKSHOP
February 27, 2015
Climate change, ocean acidification, greenhouse gases, and declining frog populations (our coastal “canaries in the coal mine”); these are just a few of the issues our southeastern habitats face.
Please join the Sapelo NERR on February 27th for the 2015 Coastal Concerns Teacher Workshop. You’ll gain insight into potential impacts from climate change, rising temperatures in the atmosphere and in the ocean, coastal hazards, and rapid development, along with fascinating research and projects that are currently underway on the southeastern coast. Curriculum resources and classroom activities are correlated to NGS Standards.
We hope you can join us!
