FUN FAMILY CONCERT! Colorado Trombones in a Benefit Concert forTPAC

n The High Altitude Trombone Quartet will present a benefit recital for the Thayer Performing Arts Center on Saturday, March 1, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. The concert will be held at the Thayer Performing Arts Center, Atlantic Union College, 438 Main Street, South Lancaster.The quartet will present a wonderfully varied and entertaining program of works ranging from Classical to Pops.TPAC Director Earl Raney says, “The High Altitude Trombone Quartet is comprised of the entire trombone section of the Colorado Springs Philharmonic Orchestra.They have recorded multiple albums and have been featured on numerous concert series.The Thayer Performing Arts Center is delighted to present this delightful evening of brass music. TPAC is a community music school in the truest sense, offering music of all genres to musicians of all ages, right here in our own backyard. The proceeds from this concert will benefit our scholarship fund for local students enrolled in TPAC’s new junior wind ensemble. We want to make the expert instruction TPAC offers more affordable for those in need of financial support. n Parents Brunch: On March 2, the Children's Ministry department is inviting all parents with children (12 and under) to join us for a potluck style brunch. The purpose of this brunch is three-fold: 1) fellowship in the commonality that binds us: parenthood! 2) encourage each other in this character shaping journey that we are on through prayer and devotion 3) discuss how the church, specifically the children's department, can be a resource to both parents and children. n You are invited to join us for ReMix: a vibrant young adult led worship service of the South Lancaster Village Church at the Strand Theater - 58 High St Clinton, MA 01510 at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 8th! This month we are turning ReMix over to our youth. We are happy to have SLA and our local church youth lead worship and Pastor Heather Cook sharing God's word with us.

We will also provide free lunch at "The Way" Cafe - 34 Walnut Street; Clinton, MA following ReMix.

Today, believers in Jesus Christ face many of the same trials.

n VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: We are looking for individuals who are interested in learning how to operate the church’s A/V systems. No experience is necessary, we’ll train you! n Victoria Drew and Levi, Mary, & Wayne Mckenney will be going on a mission trip to Dominica, sponsored by the Southern New England Conference youth department. Any donations are greatly appreciated towards the goal of going to Dominica.
