Research:
Student provides clear, articulate analysis of the assigned sociologist by interpreting their contributions to the field, including 3 sources outside of the textbook cited in presentation.
Presentation:
Student is able to give an oral presentation of their analysis to the class, without the assistance of notes. Format is digital and clearly illustrates the results of their research.
Listening/Questioning:
Student takes accurate notes on peer presentations and asks appropriate questions to the historic figure through Edmodo posts. / Research:
Student completes clear analysis of the assigned sociologist by interpreting their contributions to the field, however sources are not included and/or cited correctly.
Presentation:
Student is able to give an oral presentation of their analysis to the class, using notes and digital images.
Listening/Questioning:
Student takes accurate, though incomplete, notes on peer presentations and does not ask appropriate questions on Edmodo. / Research:
Student analyzes the assigned sociologist, including an explanation of their contributions to the field, without a clear interpretation of their contributions.
Presentation:
Student relies heavily on notes, reading from them at length while presenting their analysis to the class. Presentation is incomplete or does not clearly illustrate the results of their research
Listening/Questioning:
Student takes notes on fewer than half of the class presentations, and/or does ask any questions on Edmodo. / Research:
Student provides unclear analysis of assigned sociologist, does not correctly identify their contributions.
Presentation:
Student is unable to give oral presentation and/or does not complete their visual.
