Meet Woodstock!

I am a two year old beagle mix (on the smaller side) who was found on the streets as a stray with my brother Snoopy.

I am current on all of my vaccinations and neutered. I even have a microchip inside me! So if I ever get lost, you can come find me in a snap!

Right now I am very nervous around new people. I do like playing with other dogs, they help me feel confident!! (My brother got adopted so I am trying to be my own man)

I do warm up to people, it just takes me a bit. I have a lot of canine BFF’s includingOlga, who is also looking for a home. I have lots of new human friendsat Belly Up for Adoptions. With some training and confidence building, I will be a great companion dog. I am even going through classes right now to work on my confidence in general as well as manners and greetings.

Olga, my BFF

If I am meeting someone for the first time, it takes me a little while to get used to their presence, but I eventually do warm up and come near so I can get a pet. I would do best in a home with another dog or in an extended family that has others dogs to play with. It really helps me get past my shyness. In my free time, I like to chew on tennis balls, rope toys, and antlers. Most of the time I’m pretty quiet, but as my confidence builds I know I will be a fun loving companion.

I was very close with my stray brother, Snoopy. He always had my back when I am unsure or nervous. We could have been adopted together but he found a home before me. He’s very happy but I miss him.

If you want me to do well in your home, you’ll have to help me become more confident and trusting. It won’t take long, I’m already getting there!!

If you think that your family could be my forever family, please contact and you can request an application for me. Or call 630-542-3559 and we’ll send you one.
