Background of Project
The Healthcare Scholarships Fair is a dedicated platform organised annually by Healthcare Scholarships & Talent (HST) to market our Healthcare Scholarships to all ‘A’ level, International Baccalaureate (IB), Secondary and Polytechnic students. We are expecting a turnout of 800 to 1,000 pax for a full day event, comprising potential scholars, their parents and teachers/representatives from schools.
The release of the 2018 ‘A’ level results is likely to be between 23 and 27 February 2018. Hence, we propose to hold our fair on one of the three Saturdays closest to the ‘A’ level results release period, i.e. 17 February 2018, 24 February 2018 or 3 March 2018.
Objective of Project
The key objectives of the 2018 Healthcare Scholarship Fair are as follows:
a) Build Awareness of Scholarships and Careers: Provide a dedicated platform for MOHH in collaboration with the Healthcare Clusters to reach out to the ‘A’ level, IB, Polytechnic Diploma graduates and graduands, as well as Secondary 4/5 students about our healthcare scholarships.
b) Engage Key Influencers: Engage key influencer group of parents and teachers to impact on the students’ scholarship choices.
c) Enhance Knowledge on the Healthcare Scholarship Journey: Provide a holistic and cohesive overview of the healthcare scholarships and careers in Singapore’s public healthcare sector, what our scholarships provide as well as how we will take care and develop our scholars to the fullest.
Participating Procedures
The Request for Quotation (RFQ) process shall be as follows:
1) Interested Vendor shall first read the Confidentiality Undertakings Letter (“Letter”) and Annexure 1 attached in Annex A to this Notice. If the vendor is agreeable to be bound by the terms of this Letter and Annexure 1, interested vendor may proceed to request for the RFQ documents by sending an email to
to request for the electronic RFQ documents. In the email, please state the following:
− company name;
− company registration number;
− business address and
− the name, designation, contact number and email address of your company representative who will be the primary contact for all communications with MOHH pertaining to the RFQ (“Representative”), with the Subject line as “Response to MHHHRDRFQ17283 - Request for Quotation (RFQ) to engage an Event Vendor for Healthcare Scholarships Fair 2018”
2) Instructions relating to your submission of Proposal will be stipulated in the RFQ documentation. Only Proposals submitted in compliance with such instructions will be considered.
3) A vendor briefing will be held on 16 November 2017. Invitation will be sent to your Representative via email.
4) The RFQ closing date is on 28 November 2017, 17:00 hrs (SG Time).
