PRAYER OF THE FAITHFUL - April 28th29th

Presider:

Jesus told his disciples, “If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask for whatever you want and it will be done for you.” Therefore, we have the boldness to ask God to hear our prayers and respond to our needs. . , as we cry out, Lord hear our prayer...

Lector:

1.For all the holy Church, that through pruning and purification, it may bear much fruit …

For Christians of every church and denomination, that these various branches of the true Vine may increase in unity and their members may find common ground …

For missionaries like Saint Paul, who speak out boldly in the name of the Lord: May they see their efforts bear fruit …

For farmers and ranchers, vine growers and orchardists, for all those whose work brings food and drink to our table, that they may be blessed in their labors …

For those who feel lonely and abandoned, that they may feel the comfort of knowing they are part of a vine that has many branches and many connections …

And for all who seek comfort, that they mayfind it in God’s healing word; and that God may hear the intentions found in our parish book ...For all this, We pray.
