2016 ARTS & CRAFTS SHOW

INFORMATION SHEET

Thank you for your interest in participating in the 2016 Sprayberry High School PTSA Arts & Crafts Show. We would like to thank our many patrons who have participated in the past. We are already hard at work to make next year’s show even more successful.

2016 SHOW DATES:

Saturday, November 19, 2016 / 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Sunday, November 20, 2016 / 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

2016 BOOTH COST:

$125.00 per booth space (non-refundable)

2016 BOOTH SET-UP SCHEDULE:

Friday, November 18, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. *NO EARLIER*

Saturday, November 19, from 7:00 a.m. to 8:45 a.m.

2015SHOW PARTICIPANTS:

If you participated in our 2015 show, you may request the same booth space; however, your check or money order must be received on or before our deadline of April 1, 2016.

If your check is not received by that date, your booth will be released for a new juried crafter. Please do not ask for an extension if you miss the registration deadline.Approval of returning crafters applications requesting the same booth will be complete by April 30, 2016. Approval of applications for returning crafters requesting a new booth will be complete by August 31, 2016.

2016 SHOW GUIDELINES:

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL RE-SALE ITEMS BE ALLOWED. Please do not apply if your items are manufactured or mass-produced. Anyone attempting to sell items that are not considered to be their own crafted goods will be asked to leave the show and will forfeit their exhibitor’s fee. This policy applies whether you have exhibited with us before or if you are new.

2016 NEW APPLICANTS:

Our application deadline for new crafters is May 1, 2016. Assignment of booth spaces will be filled on a juried basis according to the quality and need for your craft at the sole discretion of the Sprayberry High School PTSA Craft Show Committee. If you wish to participate in our 2016show, please fill out the attached application (see form for details) and submit along with two pictures(one of your display and one of your major products). The show fills up quickly, so send your application in as soon as possible. We are looking forward to seeing you in November. Acceptance for new vendors submitting an application before the May 1st deadline will be completed by September 30th. Booth assignments will be complete by October 31, 2016.

If your application does not meet our deadline for applying, please do not harass our volunteers to give you approval or booth information. You will be approved & given the booth information at the earliest date possible.

RAFFLE DONATION:

All crafters are required to donate one item of at least $25.00 or higher value to our raffle. Please deliver your raffle donation to the Main Office on Friday evening during check-in.

LOCATION OF SPRAYBERRY HIGH SCHOOL:

Sprayberry High School is located in N.E. Cobb County. From I-75 take exit 267-A (Canton Road North). Go to first traffic light and turn right onto Sandy Plains Road. Go 3 miles until you intersect Piedmont Road. The school is on your left. Turn left onto East Piedmont and come in behind the school. Go down to the main overhang and come in through the cafeteria. If you are coming from I-85, take I-285 West around to I-75 North and follow above directions.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

  1. The Show is inside the school.
  2. The school colors are Black and Gold. The school mascot is Buzz, the Yellow Jacket.
  3. There are a limited number of 10’ x 10’ booth spaces. The remaining spaces are approximately 5’x15’ or 7’ x 12’.
  4. You will need to provide your own tables, chairs and backdrops.
  5. You will be responsible for your own sales and use tax. No commission is charged.
  6. A responsible adult must be in charge of your booth at all times. Please do not leave a child alone in the booth.
  7. Please bring all the change you will need. We do not provide change.
  8. Selling food other than items packaged to sell as gifts (jams, jellies, candies, cookies) is not allowed. (You may be required to have a food license)
  9. Except in emergency situations, crafters are expected to stay until closing time each day.
  10. Each application must be accompanied by a check for the entire amount.
  11. No postdated checks or holding of checks will be accepted.
  12. The borders of both spaces are clearly marked. Please set up tables and backdrops within the borders as a courtesy to adjoining crafters. This border should include the space you will sit in during the show.
  13. Tablecloths or covers are required for tables. They should go to the floor. The way your display looks will affect your sales.
  14. Strollers are not allowed.
  15. Please be prepared to donate one item (value $25.00 or higher) for our raffle.
  16. If your application is not accepted after the juried process, your application, check and all pictures will be returned to you.
