A RESOLUTION adjourning the House of Representatives in honor and loving memory of Christine Wilburn.

WHEREAS, Christine Wilburn was born in Pulaski County on November 7, 1929, the beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Susie Lee Prows; and

WHEREAS, Christine Wilburn was a homemaker and a member of the Woodstock Baptist Church; and

WHEREAS, Christine Wilburn departed this earthly life and entered the kingdom of Heaven on January 18, 2015, leaving her family, friends, and an entire community in solemn mourning; and

WHEREAS, Christine Wilburn was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William E. Wilburn; her brothers, Clarence, Lucian, Lindsay, and Robert Prows; her sisters, Bonnie Diamond, Daisy Hargis, Merdell Burnett, Dorothy Martin, Lou Etta Head, Lorene Head, and Kathern Jones; and her grandchildren, Travis and Bryce Stout. She is survived by her sons, Douglas Layne Wilburn and William Tony Wilburn (Sherry); her daughter, Mary Lynn Stout; her grandchildren, Jesika Wilburn (Aaron), Jon Wilburn (Melissa), Ben Wilburn (Whitney), Rachel Nettle (Randy), Emily Stout, Evan Stout, and Jacob Wilburn; and her great-grandchildren, Noah Ann Cecil, Ezra Nettle, Emma Nettle, and Madelyn Wilburn;

NOW, THEREFORE,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives of the General Assembly of the Commonwealth of Kentucky:

Section 1. The House of Representatives hereby expresses its deepest and most profound condolences upon the passing of Christine Wilburn, and extends its heartfelt sympathy to her family, friends, and community in this time of loss.

Section 2. When the House of Representatives adjourns this day, it does so in honor and loving memory of Christine Wilburn.

Section 3. The Clerk of the House of Representatives is directed to transmit a copy of this Resolution to Representative Rocky Adkins for delivery.
