5K & 1 Mile Fun Run

We would like to invite you to compete in our Fast Pig 5K, our Fast Pig 1 Mile Fun Run or both held in historic downtown Picayune, MS. Come dressed in your best pig costume to contend against your neighbors, friends, family and frenemies for the rights to say you are the best looking Pig. Run with the Pigs is a combination of three events in one: BBQ Competition, fitness challenge,5K & 1 mile fun run.

We will start the day off with the Fast Pigs at 8:00 a.m... By 10:00 a.m. we will be running off your morning blues with live music. Then, we will throw some Fit Pigs into the mix. By this time you’re going to be hungry from the smell of BBQ. Judging will start for the professional Full Pigs at 11:00 a.m. and you will get to sample Picayune’s finest BBQ from the amateur Full Pigs at 11:30 a.m. This is a taste of how the day will begin; for a full list of events please visit facebook.com/runwiththepigs.

Waiver (read before signing)

I know that participation in this event is a potentially hazardous activity. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release Greater Picayune Area Chamber of Commerce, Pearl River county Home Builders Association and Mississippi Mud Pirates, race officials, volunteers, and all sponsors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event. I grant permission to all of the foregoing to use any photographs, motion pictures, recordings or any other record of this event for any legitimate purposes.
